Girlhood Rising is a 3 day confidence camp created specifically for middle school girls who are navigating one of the most important and defining seasons of their lives. This is the age where friendships shift, self-doubt gets louder, and girls begin to question who they are and where they belong. Girlhood Rising creates a space where they feel seen, understood, and safe to be fully themselves. Through intentional conversations, hands-on activities, and meaningful connection, girls begin to build a stronger relationship with who they are instead of looking outside of themselves for validation.

I also know parents are out here doing the work, having the hard talks, pouring into their daughters every single day. Girlhood Rising exists to come alongside you in that. This camp goes beyond surface-level encouragement and focuses on what girls actually need to feel steady and confident in their everyday lives. Everything is built around four core pillars: resilience, identity, self-confidence, and a deep sense of being enough. Girls learn how to navigate friendships, handle comparison, manage stress, and move through challenges without losing themselves. They practice using their voice, trusting their instincts, and recognizing their own worth. The goal is not just for girls to feel confident during camp, but to leave with tools they can carry into the school year and beyond.

About the Person Behind It: Clara works in the library at Elmwood Middle School, where she's spent the last three years leading a girls mentorship program called Girl Talk. Clara created Girl Talk after seeing firsthand how many girls were struggling with confidence, friendships, and knowing who they are during this stage of life. She's also a mom of two tween and teen girls & understands on a personal level how challenging this stage can be. Raising girls in today’s world can feel isolating at times, even when you’re doing everything you can to support them. Clara believes deeply that we were never meant to do this alone, and that girls benefit most when they are surrounded by a strong, supportive village.
Girlhood Rising was created as an extension of that work and that belief. We've seen what happens when girls are given the language, support, and confidence to trust themselves, and she wanted to create something that could reach even more girls in a deeper and more intentional way.
